Leto drops the dark “Préjudice”. Three weeks after his collaboration with Koba LaD, Leto unveils “Préjudice,” the second excerpt from his upcoming mixtape “Trap$tar 3.” In 2022, the star from the XVIIth arrondissement of Paris released a joint project with Guy2bezbar, which also featured the cover of “How High” by Method & Redman. The title of this project, “Jusqu’aux étoiles”, could also refer to the track “How High Part 2”, featuring Toni Braxton from American stars: “So high then I can touch the sky.”
“Trap$tar 3” is shaping up to be dark and technical!
The artist has also just announced the tracklist of his project, which includes some prestigious collaborations, notably with Gazo, SDM, Tiakola, Rsko, Ninho, and Koba LaD. A galaxy of stars for the leader of the Porte de Saint-Ouen crew. The visuals of the first extract from the project, featuring Koba LaD, follow the codes of Drill Music for the music video, with very explicit and dark images of neighborhood life. The second excerpt is no exception. There is even a warning at the beginning of the video, indicating that the images may be sensitive for younger viewers.
Set to a minimalist and eerie instrumental production composed by LaGarde2Nuit, the artist indulges in unapologetic egotrip. The composition is marked by a few piano notes abruptly interrupted by a powerful bass. The track is as raw as the production.
The visuals of the video depict neighborhood life without reservation or “préjudice”, created by Chérif NO COLOR. The director has become one of the major figures in music videos in France for the past two years.
