The artist from Seine-et-Marne continues his studious vacation. Originally from Dammarie-les-Lys, the artist made his grand debut in 2020 with the project « Début de la Faime » (Beginning of Fame). It’s thanks to the tracks « Mbappé » and « La Purge IV » that he gained recognition from the general public, with these singles reaching millions of views.
The instrumental production of the track is signed by DJ Erise. The composer is hidden behind numerous artists, including Keblack, Sultan, La Fouine, and Lacrim to name just a few. He unveils a soft production, oriented towards Urban Pop, allowing Negrito to develop a style in which he doesn’t always evolve. Indeed, although the artist from Seine-et-Marne has been releasing multiple singles for the past few months, he also showcases the extent of his repertoire. Firstly, in collaboration with Stavo, he creates a surprising track titled « Bala Bala » in a very urban style. Then, with « Folie » (Madness), he indulges in rapping over a Baile Funk instrumental production.
With « Mal aimé » (Unloved), he develops a slightly melancholic style in which he discusses his beginnings as an artist and what led him to choose « La maison de disque » (Record label) over « la maison d’arrêt » (prison). It’s a charming track.
