Halloween might not be here yet, but you don’t need to wait October to get spooked, as three terrifying horror adventures have been put together in the Ultimate Horror Bundle. The Medium, Observer: System Redux, and Darq: Complete Edition are award-winning horror games published by the Polish masters of horror Bloober Team and Feardemic, and for the first time Xbox players have the opportunity to get all of them in a single bundle at a reduced price and optimized for Xbox Series X|S. Best of all, it’s available now!

The bundle offers three distinguishable experiences set in different times and universes but united by a common theme. No, we are not talking about the companies which worked on them, but rather the exploration of the human mind. The Medium, players travel back in time to Poland in 1999 to unravel the dark secrets of an abandoned communist resort in the shoes of Marianne, a medium able to communicate with spirits and see the world through their eyes; Observer: System Redux brings players to the dystopic world that awaits humanity in 2084 through the eyes of a neural police detective that can dig into the feelings, memories and thoughts of people; Darq: Complete Edition enters in the subconscious of its protagonist, Lloyd, a boy who becomes aware of the fact that he is dreaming.

The esoteric The Medium, the most recent production from Bloober Team, is characterized by a proprietary dual-reality gameplay system that allows players to simultaneously see two dimensions in one screen – the real world characterized by a faithful recreation of real structures from late 90s Poland, and the otherworldly spirit dimension inspired by the artworks of the surrealist painter Zdzisław Beksiński. Moreover, the game is characterized by an original soundtrack co-composed by the long-time Bloober’s composer of choice, Arkadiusz Reikowski, together with the world-renowned composer Akira Yamaoka, known to everyone familiar with the Silent Hill series.

Conversely, in the dark cyberpunk world shattered by plagues and wars of Observer: System Redux, the player takes a first-person approach to dig deep into the human subconscious through the eyes of Daniel Lazarski, a detective interpreted by nonetheless than Rutger Hauer, the legendary actor who played the role of replicant Roy Batty in the 1982 movie masterpiece Blade Runner. Observer: System Redux is the definitive vision of this award-winning cyberpunk thriller, rebuilt and augmented for the next generation of Xbox consoles.

If solving crimes isn’t for you but you still love the idea of digging deep into other people’s minds,

Darq: Complete Edition will make you explore the world of lucid dreams (or rather nightmares). Developed by Unfold Games, Darq is a game characterized by cryptic environments and obscure characters in which players have to deal with complex puzzles by bending the laws of physics and manipulating the fluid fabric of the dream world — walking on the roof will be the least weird thing you’ll do in Darq. Darq: Complete Edition is the ultimate release of the acclaimed gravity-bending horror-puzzler experience, including the base game Darq plus DLCs The Tower and The Crypt.
